Using QGIS 3.42, key topographic parameters such as slope, aspect, Topographic Wetness Index (TWI), Stream Power Index (SPI), and the Drought Geomorphological Unit-based Index (Drought Index) were extracted and harmonized within a GIS-based Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) framework. The integrated analysis enabled the identification of spatial patterns of drought risk and delineation of high-susceptibility zones. A Multi-stage sampling technique was employed to select a total of two hundred (200) fisherfolks within the regions, data collected were aggregated using a composite index and differential vulnerabilities LVI–IPCC was scaled from -1(least vulnerable) to 1 (most vulnerable). It is a major part of carbon and nutrient cycles. This study investigated the temporal variations of fluorescent organic matter from Gapeau river water (RW), effluent wastewater (WW) and sea water (SW) using excitation-emission matrices (EEM) fluorescence spectroscopy coupled with Parallel Factor Analysis (PARAFAC). Three campaigns using an autosampler collected samples of RW in Sept. 2016, SW in Oct. 2016 and WW in Nov. 2016. EEMs were collected on nonfiltered and filtered water sources and a t-test was used to investigate the impact of presence/absence of particulate organic matter.
